At Balance Regenerative, Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine we strive to educate patients on their musculoskeletal injuries, emphasizing injury prevention, and teaching them how to exercise in a way that does not encourage further injury. Each patient receives a customized treatment plan which may include modalities that range from physical therapy to blood growth factor based regenerative medicine.

Meet Rebecca Brown, MD

My extensive experience in Regenerative, Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine has taught me two important things:

  • Stay current with the latest advances in my specialized field of medicine.

  • Take the time to listen and understand the unique needs of every patient.

I am Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I’m an intellectually curious physiatrist with over 15 years of experience diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions. Providing cutting edge, first-rate treatments to patients of all ages and addressing their varied musculoskeletal complaints is my passion.

In addition, I work as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Hospital in Manhattan, teaching my craft to the next generation of regenerative medicine doctors.

When I’m not at work, I am surfing, hiking and snowboarding with my kids and my dogs, being outdoors and living life to its fullest potential.

I am a true Brooklynite and spent many happy years of my childhood exploring and falling in love with my city. I have been a member of the Park Slope community for over 40 years, with long-standing personal connections with many businesses in the area. I am so excited to start a business in the wonderful borough I call home.
